Downhome Dave and the Dynamite are a cross between the legends of the Chicago Blues scene and the funky swing of the more modern greats. Think Muddy Waters combined with James Brown and Brian Setzer with a dash of John Mayer thrown in. Downhome Dave and the Dynamite create an atmosphere that engulfs the listener in the type of music that speaks to the soul while inspiring the body to move unconsciously. An unearthly experience of mojo taking the listener to another dimension, creating a state altering experience you can’t be arrested for.

All right - CD is finished!! It is being duplicated as you read this. I am very pleased with how it has turned out. Mike and Steve at Beyond Audio have done a great job! In a recent change of events my friend Gord McGhie of Trigger Music volunteered to do the mastering of the CD. Gord is a professional who makes his living creating music for Tv and Movies. If you've been looking at this site in the last while you will see that I have changed the cover of the CD. At he advice of Gord and Marzio (the creator of the cover you have seen here before) I have changed the look to be a bit more serious. Gord actually said the music and performances are too strong for the cover. Marzio agreed. (Hey! my first endorsements for the CD). So, Marzio and I spent some time redesigning the cd package and I have to tell you that I think we really came up with something good. This cover is more artistic, with a touch of sex appeal and some fun. I really like her tatoo!. I will be planning cd release parties etc. when I actually have the copies in my hands!!
